An irregular standing stone, 2.0m high by 1.7m by 0.2m. Two further stones were recorded as lying prostrate at the base of the stone (1964), one of which was standing in 1890. The form of the erect stone seems more characteristic of a standing stone than of a cromlech supporting stone, and suggestions that this was a denuded burial chamber seem unlikely.
