A well preserved deserted rural settlement, probably of medieval date, comprising an annular banked & ditched enclosure, approximately 26m in diameter, springing from an apparent rectangular building platform, in the region of 20m from north-west to south-east by 10m. The whole is set on ground falling to the north-west, having a weakly defined, subrectangular enclosure appended on the south-west, with an area of cultivation ridges apparent to the east.
