DescriptionCaer Einion Hillfort is a promontory fort utilising the fall of the ground for its defences. It has a crescentic sweep of doubled banks across a frontage of approximately 74m, which cut off the northern approaches to a rocky knoll that forms the summit of a locally prominent hill. The enclosed area is approximately 110m deep. A second line of bank and ditch lies 20m to the north.
