DescriptionCwmyrychen House, on Cwmyrychen Farmstead (nprn 81170), is an eighteenth century farmhouse, originally with a timber-framed front wall, though little of this was visible by 1990. The house is two and a half storeys high, with whitened rubble-stone walls under a slate roof and has stone chimney stacks on the ends. In plan, it has a central stair hall with double-depth rooms on either side.
