DescriptionThe enclosure lies on a level natural terrace on the northwest facing slope of Coedd Swydd. Externally it measures approximately 50 metres north to south by 40 metres. The bank was at least 3m wide at its base and up to 0.70 metres with an external ditch of similar width but only up to 0.30 metres deep. What appears to be a causewayed entrance allows access in the northeast corner. Vegetation cover in 2011 was dead bracken which had not been cut and baled as had most of the common. A rectangular structure, c.8.0m N-S by 6.0m, has been noted in the past in the NW angle of the enclosure, but was not seen during field survey in 2011. It may have been obscured by bracken.
The pillow mounds of a rabbit warren lie c.250m to the E (NPRN 24588).
