Site of houses formerly extending NE. along North Street from Fairbank, up as far as the post-1844 Company Shop. An "Irregular row of houses of various sizes, mostly of the four-roomed, double-fronted type". which appear to have been shown on the OS surevy of 1813-17, and demolished before 1962 (Jeremy Lowe, Housing as a source for industrial history: a case study of Blaenafon, Journal of the Society for Industrial Archaeology, 8, no.1 (1982), 22).
