The Butcher's Wood Enclosure is a sub-oval enclosure, approximately 80m in diameter. It is largely defined by scarps, but the low remains defences are visible on the western site. A field boundary appears to follow the line of the defences for a short distance on the eastern side and here the earthwork survives to around 0.8m in height.
