Description
1. Early 19th century, 2 storey stucco front, doric porch.
2. Greenfield, now known as Carmel House in memory of the Carmelite nuns who occupied the site for a number of years upto 1994, is a large mansion of ca.1800 date which was enlarged by the addition of a service wing in the later-19th. century. The grounds are entered on the E. through ashlar gatepiers set in iron railings. To the SW. of the house a stable block fronts a walled garden and there was a range of out-buildings to the S. of this which have mainly been destroyed or re-built.
