Description
Former inn, one of four droving inns on the northern side of Mynydd Epynt, which included The Griffin Inn to the east, the ruins of Tafarn y Mynydd on the northern side of the Epynt (NPRN 90083) and Spite Inn in the west near Tirabad (NPRN 16194). The Drover's Arms fell into disrepair when the Epynt was requisitioned for military training before the Second World War. The exterior was sympathetically restored in the 1990s by the Ministry of Defence but the interior remains bare and empty to serve the needs of military training.
