Uchelolau Church in the medieval settlement of Highlight (NPRN 15331), now comprises the overgrown stone footings of a medieval church, or chapel, which consisted of nave and chancel, c.12.25m by 5.0m. The church was abandoned in c. 1570. Excavated in 1964-66, fragments of red plaster were recovered, probably from the chancel arch.
