Description
Y Graig (1) Calvinistic Methodist chapel was in residential use from c.1875. The former chapel was built against a rock outcrop with a water spring. It has whitewashed stone north and south walls with later-20th century extensions adjoining on the north-west and south-east; the lower, whitewashed stone chapel house projects south-east from the chapel, with left-hand door and right-hand windows in its south-west-facing wall. The chapel entry was formerly on the south-east. There are slate roof, a stone stable with hayloft built against an earth/rock bank and adjoining the farm track on the south-west, to Esgair-goch.

Briefly visited by O M Jenkins, RCAHMW, on 21/11/2002. Status (2002): other (house).
