Independent chapel (1) is the precursor to Seion Independent Chapel, Pontrobert (NPRN: 11455). Built in 1829 with renovations of 1843 (BCS database); it is shown as an Independent Chapel on OS mapping: Montgomeryshire sheet XIV SE for 1889. It was converted to domestic use after the opening of the present Seion Chapel.

Present status (2002): demolished and house rebuilt on site.
