Hen Blas-yn-Dre is a derelict, single-storeyed cottage preserving the apparently unique fragmentary remains of a lath-and-plaster Snowdonian fireplace hood. The cottage was inhabitated until the mid-20th century but was latterly modified to house a hearse.
