Description
A stone-built 'U' plan building with 17th century roof-trusses and arched entrance of green sandstone, flanked by small sandstone windows to wings. There is 18th century red brick to front gables, as though replacing former timber-frame gables. The narrow wing said to have been used to store malt with kiln at rear, therefore probably a malt-house. No evidence of domestic usage as seen.
