Located in a shallow saddle just to the south of a footpath linking Y Gyrn to the public right of way west of Bryn Cader Faner is a roughly circular stony mound. It presents as a circular ring of larger stones within which cairn material is almost level with the top of the perimeter stones. Its maximum height is about 0.3m.
Not only are there extensive views to the NE but the cairn is also overlooked by nearby rising ground.
