Depicted on OS County series (1889) as a perfect circle & labelled 'old sheepfold', accesed by a track from Upper Cae-glas farm, 0.5km to the S.
To the NE a bank delimits an area, c.220m NW-SE by 180m, otherwise defined by stream gullies & there are indications of similar arrangements to the N & NW.
