Description
This is an extensive and well preserved field system, probabably Prehistoric, laid out across the north-facing slopes of Mynydd Carningli. The remains include field walls, circular structures or enclosures (NPRN 304312-3, 308762, 308765), and at least one clearance cairn field (NPRN 308763), and extend over an area roughly 660m east-west by 300m. The walls generally run east-west along the contours and are somewhat irregular in their detailed courses.

A further settlement and enclosure complex occupies a spur some 300m to the north (NPRN 304317) and there are some traces of more field enclosures, possibly a continuation of this field system, further to the west (NPRN 111205).
