The oval embanked enclosure east of Penlan Isaf measures c.45m north-south by 30m; and is set on ground falling to the south-east, the enclosure appears to be rather terraced into the fall of ground, depending on a N-SSW scarp line which, as with apparent relict field boundary features to the east, may represent natural outcropping.
