Description
The Rock Cutting, Glyncorrwg Railway is 10m-deep cutting, 170m long, which lies across the ridge of Cefn Morfudd. It is in good condition and the vertical rock-cut sides are 4.0m apart at the narrowest point. The cutting is in regular use as a farm track and no sleeper blocks are visible. On either side of the cutting there is clear evidence of earlier field banks which have been cut through by the railway works.

Site visited B.A.Malaws, 20 February 1992.
