The features lies within a possibly IA ditched enclosure (Nprn309290).

2. Site of chapel shown on Rees's map of South Wales and the Borders in 14th century (OS card SS 96 NW 1). This is the New Mill Farm Roman site PRN 00763s); it is not known what evidence Rees had for this identification.
