OS 1890-1 depicts:
A drive from the public road on the east north east, flanked by mixed plantations/belts, with a possible walled/kitchen garden enclosure on the south, immediately east of the house. the plantation north of the drive continues across on the north of the house, the drive itself looping round to achieve the public road once more to the north.
On the south of the house and its outbuildings are various yards/enclosures.
The field south of the house, partly enclosed in a loop of the Dee is shown having scattered trees, as is, to a lesser degree, the field on its east. The lake, currently depicted in this area, appears to be recent.
