Description
Part of the Elan Aqueduct (nprn 95469), itself part of the Elan Valley Water Scheme (nprn 96459), the Nantmel Conduit continues the route near Nantmel village. It runs from the Dulas Syphon Outlet (nprn 309618), including Nantmel Dingle Aqueduct (nprn 309619), Maes-y-gelli Crossing (nprn 309620) and Carmel Bridge (nprn 309621), to the Clywedog Syphon Inlet & Overflow Chamber (nprn 309622).

Carmel Bridge is a multi-arched stone-built structure approximately 146m long and carries the aqueduct over a minor road and the Camlo Brook.
