Three arms of a rectangular moat, 10-14m wide, enclosed an area 40m north-east to south-west by at least 30m, upon which was set Emral Hall (Nprn35805), a U-plan early 16th-18th century mansion, open to the south-east, where the moat is not recorded.
Supplied by leat (Nprn309713); OS County series (Flint. XXII.7 1873) depicts only part of the moat in-water, there being no trace by 1973.
