Description
The Brecon Mountain Railway is a 2ft-gauge line some 3 1/2 miles in length, running in part through the Brecon Beacons National Park from its headquarters at Pant station, via Pontsticill station (nprn 91523) and alongside the Taf Fechan reservoir to a temporary terminus at the north end of the line. The railway was built as a tourist railway on the track bed of the former Brecon & Merthyr Railway.
