Description
The cist is as described above, lying on the baulk between two peat cuttings. It was overgrown with purple moor grass and reeds when visited in September 2009 and hard to find. The cist is defined by upright slabs, two parallel shorter ones aligned east-west inserted between the longer ones aligned north-south. The western slabs is now leaning in towards the centre. The internal cist measures 0.55m north-south by 0.75m. Further stone was felt under the vegetation cover to the west of the cist although its form could not be ascertained.
