DescriptionThe two enclosures south-west of Pen-Rhiw-Paenod are defined by low banks, which are 1m wide and between 0.3m and 0.5m high. The eastern and western banks have ditches on the west side (i.e. one ditch inside the enclosure and the other ditch outside), and an east to west bank across the centre divides the area into two fields. Approximately 125m from north to south by 75m. The eastern bank curves outwards at the north-eastern end. At the south-eastern end the south bank projects beyond the angle with the east bank.
There are cultivation marks to the west of the modern reservoir and to the east there are stone walls that are depicted on the Ordnance Survey map of 1889.
