Description
A subcircular embanked enclosure, 20-24m in diameter, showing as a dished area, at least 0.3m deep, with only traces of banks; seen when freshly ploughed summer 2003.

Feature noted & mapped on CAMBRIA/RCAHMW Dyfed Roman Roads Mapping Project (Murphy, 1997), where it was suggested as a possible Roman military site, possibly a tower emplacement, associated with the road running north-west to south-east about 24m to the north-east, traces of whose metalling is visible following ploughing (Nprn303528).

Other similar, possible Roman tower sites, set close to the line of Roman roads are:
Careg-y-Bwci (Nprn303905)
Pant-y-Rhedin (Nprn303893)
Waun-wen (Nprn310385).
