Description
A long range south-west of the house completed in 1754 (NPRN 15812). It lies between a service or stable yard on the east towards the house, and the farmyard to the west.
The earliest part is a lofted stable dated to 1734 that opens to the west, away from the present house. Later in the eighteenth century a cross wing with servant's accommodation was added on the north and two further stables were added on the south. At a later date a two bay coachhouse was added on the south as well as various lean-to extensions. A kennel was built in the angle between the crosswing and stable.
The range has stone rubble walls with brick dressed openings under a slate roof with various stone stacks.
