Description
An early nineteenth century boathouse associated with Plas Newydd mansion (NPRN 15824), one of the amenities of the park and grounds (NPRN 265416). It was built in 1817-1822 next to the harbour of 1796. To the north a jetty projects from a long Gothic sea walled promenade (NPRN 15825).
The boathouse is a single storey, part lofted building with a hipped slate roof. It faces east towards the harbour where its six bay facade of coursed squared stone originally had five doors and a single window. The others walls are of stone rubble.
