DescriptionA group of eighteenth-nineteenth century farmbuildings associated with Penrhyn Hall (NPRN 16691), which declined into a farmhouse in the eighteenth century. They are depicted on the 1st edition OS County series (Caernarvon. V.2 1871). Originally set about three sides of a yard, the buildings are now biscected by Penrhyn Old Road and some part have been demolished or otherwise lost. There is now a modern farmhouse (NPRN 16690).
On the south side of the former yard is a large threshing barn, probably nineteenth century. Adjoining on the south-west are two buildings with round-headed windows, making up an L-plan range. On the north-east side of the former yard is a lofty single storey lofted range, stone walled with a slate gabled roof. This is eighteenth-nineteenth century.
