Sited noted as an important derelict farmstead of medieval origin in Ancient Monuments Society Transactions 45 (2001), pp. 89-91. (2002.07.12/RCAHMW/RFS)

3. The barn is part of an L-plan farmyard group downhill to the north of the farmhouse. It is an early 18th-century stone barn built against the slope with a box-frame portion to the rear. There are cowhouses underneath at the downhill end of the main block. The slate roof no longer survives.
