Opened March 1894. 3-storey corner building between Canon Street and High Street, with 2-storey flanking ranges. Stuccoed. 3-storey block with truncated pyramidal roof with ironwork crown in centre. Shops in 2-storey Canon Street range plus entrance to former Empire Theatre/Cinema which also until 1994 formed part of the building.
