1. 1893, extension in 1907, red brick and tile.

2. Built in 1893 as the South Wales Institute of Engineers with a large library extension in 1907. 5-bay elevation to Park Place of two storeys with attic with sash windows flanked by panelled pilasters. The library extension is also 2 storeys with a six bay elevation to Greyfriars Road, with paired sashes to each bay. Interior features include moulded cornices and a large transomed and mullioned staircase window with lozenge and diamond shaped panes.

3. In 1987 major refurbishment took place to convert the building from professional institutional premises to a restaurant and bar. Works underway in January 1995 followed on from a fire.
