DescriptionNAR SH68SW2
The well is a small rectangular pool set in a well chamber some 2.25m by 1.8m, finished by a brick superstructure with a date stone of 1710. This opens onto a larger chamber on the south, now roofless. Both chambers have stone flagged floors and benches. Immediately south-west of the outer chamber are the footings of an oval building, 3.5-4.0m across, set upon a stone platform. Traditionally this was St Seriol's cell.
The well stands to the north of Penmon Priory church (NPRN 95543).
