Bronant is a small village situated about five miles north west of Tregaron. It has a village shop and public house, both named after the bridge that crosses the river Camdwr near the middle of the village. There is a Welsh Calvinistic Methodist chapel next to the shop, and a small primary school 'Ysgol Rhos y Wlad,' about a third of a mile south of the village centre.
