The hall was never built, and after the Second World War, a smaller hall (now known as Neuadd Aberdyfi) was built on a nearby site. The original plan is impressive, and includes a theatre/cinema, as well as a physical training hall, toilets and changing rooms, and a flat for a caretaker and their family.
