GAT HER states that this is "a small lead-mine site in the Gwydir forest, situated south of the Pandora complex." Details on fig.10 in Bennett and Vernon 1995, Mines of Gwydyr Forest part 6. This mine is not to be confused with the Talyllyn mine to the west. Shown as disused lead mine on the Ordnance Survey first-edition map of 1889, but new shafts and levels shown subsequent editions seem to belong to the Bwlch y Groes Mine (NPRN 534095).
