Description
1. Operational circa 1888-1930. 3 main levels with ruins of crushing mills.

2. The areas accessible through No.6 level entrance currently represent the only operational part of Gwynfynydd Gold Mine (nprn 40471), which was re-opened in 1981. The processing mill is set underground in a chamber for environmental and security reasons. Operations were ceasing at the time of visit and the mine is to be flooded.
