551 428 Gold mine workings covering area c550m E/W x 430m N/S. Main focus of mine buildings at SH74253851. Further linear workings and levels to E & SE. 

Mine workings focussed on E/W river, where spoil heaps, levels and mine buildings extend for c400m. Metalled tracks give access to W mine workings; N fork extends to buildings described in short text, S fork extends to higher ground.
2 areas of linear working visible in higher rough ground to S & E of river. First at sh74543856, extend S in sinuous line for c190m. Second area at SH74663833 extend broadly E/W for c120m.
Poor control across hiher ground to SE, position of workings not accurate to below c15m.
