Description
1. Mill built circa 1863 altered and extended 1887-8; burnt out 1939.

2. Mill for processing the ore from the nearby Gywnfynydd gold mine (nprn 40471). Originally built in 1869 as the Charlotte Elizabeth mill, containing a 16-stamp mill and Britten Pans, driven by a 36ft diameter by 5ft wide water wheel. The mill was re-equipped and extended in 1888 with a 40-stamp mill driven by a turbine and 50 h.p. steam engine. It was renovated in 1934, but burnt out in 1935.

The site consists of ruined stone walls; the water pipe, concrete reservoir and the turbine housing at river level are still extant.
