The remains comprise a stone tower forming a base, with a wooden pier (nprn 34211) attached.
Event and Historical Information:
Llanelli Breakwater Light was constructed c. 1864. Sailing Directions dating to 1884 note 'Llanelly harbour light at the south end of the breakwater, is shown from half flood until quarter ebb; it is white and fixed, elevated 36 feet from highwater, and can be seen 7 miles'.
