DescriptionAberpergwm Cast Iron Aqueduct is one of three identical cast-iron aqueducts, cast in the 1930's, carrying streams across Neath Canal. This fine cast-iron aqueduct carries the Nant Pergwm over the canal. It was cast at Neath Abbey ironworks (NPRN 85096) in 1835 to the same pattern as the Resolven aqueduct (NPRN 34460). Just to the south-west are the substantial remains of lock no. 15, Granary Lock [SN 8619 0570], and a lock-tail bridge.
