Brithdir Aqueduct was built circa 1820, and is very good example of the small cast iron-trough type of aqueduct developed by G.W. Buck. It was the prototype for the similar aqueduct at Welshpool. It has abutements rebuilt in blue brick. Dated circa 1820.
