Description
The former signal hut at Glandyfi Station (nprn 41363), a small wooden hut with a sloping roof, was erected by the signalling equipment firm of Dutton & Co. on the down platform to the southwest of the main station buildings, probably between 1890 and 1895. It was superseded by a new and much larger 17-lever Great Western Railway type 7 box in the early 1920s, set on the down platform to the northeast of the main station buildings, but now demolished. The signal hut was moved to the southeast of the main buildings where it served as a store; it was recorded there in 1990 but its subsequent fate is unknown.
