Description
A well-constructed single-arched stone bridge, believed to date from 1805, which carried Nevill Druce Railway over the northern end of the Carmarthenshire Dock (nprn 34193) on the New Cut Canal of 1839 (nprn 34397), at the south end of the Scouring Dock (nprn 34206). The bridge is of carefully dressed sandstone, with a shallow segmental arch, now of red brick. On the north elevation there is evidence of the former scouring sluice installed in 1858.
