A wrought iron lattice girder bridge between masonry abutments, dating from 1799-1800, which carried the Merthyr Tramroad (nprn 91513) over the Morlais Brook. The girders spanning the brook were first observed by RCAHMW staff in 1979, when it was noted that the ironwork was in an extremely delicate condition; unfortunately the bridge fell into the brook and was washed away before a record could be made.
