3. A large block of houses, post 1886: 4-storeys high with walls of local rubble in earth and lime mortar. The roof is slate and has brick chimneys. The openings have segmental brick arches to the heads. The upper floors had triple-light sash windows in tiers. Internally there was lath and plaster partitions and softwood lintels.
