[Additional:] Hearth-passage house of uncertain date. Documentary references suggest that there was a late-medieval house here. Noted with detailed sketch-plan in 1988. (RFS/2002).
[Additional] A pair of re-used trusses in the lower parlour have mortises for threaded-purlins (see sketch note). Under one truss is an early C19th partition of wattle and daub (see photo). The horizontal hazel wattles are woven between vertical staves set between ceiling-beam of ground-floor and truss/collar. They form 4 panels (one an end doorway) framed by roughly squared vertical timbers. Visited G. A. Ward, 29/01/01.
