Description
The Post Office, Aberystwyth, was built 1906 by Daniel Thomas, dated 1901, referring to the accession of Edward VII to the throne. The building is three storeys high with a three window brick front with terracotta dressings. The roof has wide bracket eaves and red brick chimney stacks. The first and second floor windows are paired sash windows linked by arabesque detailed panels. A tessellated fascia to the ground floor reads "E VII R POST OFFICE 1901". The main entrance is offset to the left.
