1. Situated in landscaped grounds. Former country house, now Hospital. Works known to have been carried out in 1813 and 1867. Local historical associations with mining industry.

2. The house was rebuilt c.1813, of limestone ashlar with 5 bays and overhanging hipped roof of low pitch. 3 further bays and a belvedere tower added in c.1867.
